There is a qualified preschool teacher. Who plans and delivers a weekly curriculum in line with the Queensland Kindergarten guidelines and daily activities, creating learning experiences based on your child’s interests and coherent with the Belonging, Being and Becoming Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to enhance and develop your child’s learning.
The children have access to our playground area, that provides opportunities for physical play and interactions with the other children across the centre.
The yard provides sufficient shade from the sun.
The children are able to engage in play such as water and sand play, painting, a home corner, arts and crafts, music and dance, sensory boxes and much more
We have Before and After School Care and Vacation Care. Which enables your child to have that continuity from Pre-Prep to School and Home Away From Home Security until they are in high school.
Tugun Tiny Tots believes continuity of care and communication is key to providing a quality childcare service.
As part of the National Quality Area 6, we focus on collaborative relationships with families which are fundamental to achieving quality outcomes for children and community partnerships that are based on active communication, consultation and collaboration.
Find out what we get up to everyday… The Group Leader will give you information via email about your child’s day.
We also use Storypark which provides parents daily information about your child’s day and what they have been up to throughout the day.
Things to bring:
Please bring a drink bottle– we will ensure your child has access to water all day!
Please provide spare clothes-we have lots of fun and may get messy!
Provide your child with their favourite comforter (if required) – we will ensure your child is safe and secure and has a rest time.
Put sunscreen on your child when they arrive – we will put it on throughout the day!
Bed sheets supplied (where required) they are changed and washed daily, so every child get a clean bed every day.
All we ask of you: Please provide your child with their lunch and some snacks for the day!
Please ensure everything is labelled up.
There is an effective enrolment and orientation process, allowing the staff to find out more about your child and get to know their routine and needs, providing parents with confidence that their child is safe and secure.
Welcome!! I am Tara and I have been in Early Childhood since I was 17 years old. I began my journey back in my home town of Ayr in North Queensland.
In that time I have completed my Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Early Childhood, as well as spent some time training Early Childhood qualifications all over Queensland. Training has inspired me to take my journey further and commence my Bachelor of Early Childhood in the very near future. My passion is Early Childhood and I love to mentor Educators and assist in the development of all children, to ensure they become the best person they can be.
I live on the Gold Coast with my pet dog Sass. Un-fortunately my moving south meant I have had to leave all my family back up north. I am the youngest of four and have a lot of cousins, aunts and uncles that I am very close to. It has been worth the move though.
